BBQ Chicken Recipe

Devils Dynamite have decided to give some tips on how to make the most of a BBQ this summer! We have put together a step by step guide (pictures included) on how to marinate chicken for your perfect summer dish. So why not spice up your food with some Devils Dynamite?

First we have some creme fraiche available from any supermarket, here you can see we picked ours up from Tesco.

Second we have Devils Dynamite Explosive range which is one of the hottest chilli pastes that we make, however you can change the Devils Dynamite paste according to your personal tastes (maybe more mild).

Use about half a tub of the creme fraiche and 3 or 4 heaped spoons of devils dynamite and add them into a bowl and mix it in together. This is your marinade...

Next, get your raw chicken ready in a bowl. Here we used three small, whole chickens.

Now add the previously made marinade to the chicken and mix in together.

So the whole chicken should be covered.

Now place the chicken on the BBQ.

You can even add a little more Devils Dynamite to the chicken (half a spoon per chicken), like in this picture just to give it that extra kick. (Optional).

Hopefully you chicken will look like this whilst cooking, leave for about 20 - 30 minutes until cooked thoroughly.

Add a side of fresh salad and your final dish should look something like this...

Try it out for yourself, a quick and easy recipe! Remember you can mix up your flavours and try other products...

Let us know if you found this helpful, thanks!!

DevilsDynamite Automobile

Never thought that I would be the proud owner of a white van!!! Not dissing all of those van drivers out there but not exactly a ride of choice for me....but somehow I am......proud that is!!!

The DevilsDynamite team has just invested in a new (ish) van that will enable us to show our products at local farmers markets and trade shows. Took Becky out in the van today and was like she was on a white knuckle ride.

Does everyone get in a white van and drive like a lunatic....or is it just me!

Can't wait till the Harrogate show on the 23rd June 2013.....thinking that a couple of hours on the M1 will give me a chance to check out its full capabilities

How To Use Devils Dynamite Chilli Paste

I got asked this simple question today and realised that I should really share the answer with you all.

Our chilli paste is not all about the heat (although the explosive paste will blow you away if you like heat)……its more about the base flavour that the blend of chilli, garlic, ginger and coriander adds to your chosen dish.

Look I’m no great cook…..that my brother’s domain….but I use this chilli paste in almost all of my cooking these days and everyone (including the kids) loves it. I add a couple of teaspoons to spaghetti bol, lasagne and chilli con carne as standard. Unless you use loads is just adds a bit of spice to the meat sauce.

I’ve been cooking a lot of BBQ’s in the last week or so and turning the paste into a marinade and cooking it outside is sooooo good. We had some DevilsDynamite tandoori twist lamb steak, DevilsDynamite Coconut twist pork ribs and DevilsDynamite chicken wings at the weekend. Family and friends couldn’t get enough!!

A couple of days ago I got my kids and my niece and nephew to make their own pizzas. We mixed the different chilli pastes with tomato puree to cover the bases and then they each added a topping of their choice….chicken and sweetcorn…..tuna, anchovies and mushrooms…..Peppers, Onions and mushrooms. Cheese on top and they were ready. The kids loved them as did the adults.

Penny is the real chilli head of the family and she often has DevilsDynamite as a sauce on the table. She mixes chilli (1 tsp) with tomato ketchup (4 tsps) and has it on the side of her plate…try it.....its hot but tasty.

John is the chef of the family and we will be adding to the recipes on the website over the next few days and weeks so watch this space. For now check on our recipe book tab on the website.
